Sloft Magazine is a bilingual independent publication, based in Paris, dedicated to architecture, design, and the development of compact urban spaces, from 15 to 70 m². Led by Jean Desportes, the magazine highlights creative and ingenious solutions devised by architects and designers to optimize space and improve the quality of life in small homes. The eighth issue of Sloft Magazine explores unique and bold interiors in Tokyo, Madrid, and Paris, which resist urban standardization. Through eight iconic apartment visits, a fashion and literary essay, and an interview with the duo Xolo Cuintle on the use of concrete, the magazine highlights strong choices in materials, colors, and shapes. Among the highlights, Eduardo Mediero's Studiolo project in Madrid—a radical 50 m² apartment—illustrates a central conviction: poetry and creativity do not depend on surface area, but on the boldness of ideas.
