Launched in 2008 as a blog by Lucy Feagins, The Design Files has become the Australian reference for local creativity. Since 2024, the platform offers a 192-page biannual print magazine, designed as a collector's item. Each issue features exclusive reports on interiors and architecture in Australia and New Zealand, innovative gardens, portraits of creators, and chronicles on the art of living. A carefully crafted publication, rich in photography and untold stories, to discover the best of contemporary Australian design.

Issue 03 celebrates the richness and diversity of Australian interiors, encompassing architecture, design, and landscape architecture. From renovated family homes to relaxed coastal retreats and an eclectic 1960s residence, the magazine offers an inspiring panorama of contemporary creation. It also features artists' homes, a colorful renovation by WOWOWA, and a naturalist garden by Tim Pilgrim. A vibrant issue that also explores multi-generational living and highlights Indigenous art centers, reflecting design rooted in its territory.
